Having a strong sense of place is important to me and critical in creating my work. Inspired by landscapes my work is full of delicate textures, variant colors, striking contrasts, light and snowflakes falling gently from the sky...Growing up with Alaska's midnight sun in the summer and brilliant Aurora Borealis in the winter I feel life is magical and treasure every day.
